On 7 March a century of International Women’s Days was celebrated with the screening of “Die Fremde” at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels – a partnership event with UN Women, UNRIC, the European Parliament and UNRIC.

Every Monday the Say NO-UNiTE Campaign features a video on ending violence against women recommended by Say NO supporters. They encourage visitors to engage in an open discussion on the featured videos through the Say No Facebook and Youtube channels.
Sokha is gazing apathetically into space. Her sister Rena puts an arm around her, encourages her to talk about what happened to her. Sokha has been kidnapped and forced to work in a brothel, until her sister, an incredibly brave girl, manages to save her. The girls tell Sokha’s story to Cambodian politician Mu Sochua, a human rights activist. “The goal,” says Mu Sochua “is to turn them into survivors.”
