The Spanish Caixa Fundation Prize

Selected by our distinguished jury, the overall winner of the 2011 Create4theUN competition will receive a 5000€ cash prize from the Caixa Fundation in Madrid, Spain. An award ceremony will take place on 25 November 2011 at the Caixa Forum in Madrid where the winner of the competition will be invited to receive the prize.

Fabrica Youth Prize

Founded in 1994 by Luciano Benetton and Oliviero Toscani, Fabrica is the Benetton Group communication research centre. Its aim is to combine culture with industry and offer young designers and artists from around the world an opportunity for creative growth and multicultural exchange. Fabrica is based in Treviso, Italy. This winner will receive a two week trial period, which if successful will lead to a full year grant and internship in Fabrica. The two- week trial includes tutoring, facilities, work station, hospitality in a shared apartment in Treviso (30 minutes from Venice) and lunch in the Fabrica restaurant. UNRIC will cover the round-trip travel costs of the trial winner.

People’s Choice award

The Portuguese government will be rewarding the winner of the public vote.  Although the competition is only open to Europeans, everyone from around the world can vote for their favourite ad.
